The Supreme Court and USAID New Justice Program Have Signed a Protocol of Cooperation

The Supreme Court and USAID New Justice Program have signed a Protocol of Cooperation. The Program will assist the Supreme Court to strengthen judicial independence and self-governance, improve transparency and accountability of the judiciary to the society, assert rule of law, enhance court administration, expand an access to justices, and protect human rights in Ukraine.

Overriding priorities of the cooperation include taking measures which would increase the public trust in court, facilitating a case law unification process, fostering further professional development of court staff, supporting automation of judicial process and employment of latest e-court technologies, developing cooperation and sharing experience with European and US supreme courts.
