USAID New Justice Program is pleased to invite you to an online presentation of the Solution Explorer platform developed for online resolution of disputes relating to minor traffic violations, uncontested divorce, and child support alimony cases. This platform is a result of joint efforts of the USAID New Justice Program and its Ukrainian partners aimed at introducing modern online dispute resolution (ODR) technologies in Ukraine. It has been developed with support of the High Council of Justice and in cooperation with judges, lawyers, mediators, and other specialists.
With the help of the online Solution Explorer platform, users will be able to:
- obtain organized legal information which will automatically be adjusted to circumstances of each specific case, about dispute resolution pathways regarding (1) minor traffic violations, (2) uncontested divorce, and (3) child support alimony cases;
- make an informed decision on further actions;
- based on templates prepare respective documents (applications and others) to be submitted to court or any other body depending of the chosen resolution pathway;
- submit them to the court using electronic digital signature (EDS).
High Council of Justice Chair Andrii Ovsiyenko, Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Legal Policy Committee Andrii Kostin, representative of USAID/Ukraine (TBC) and USAID New Justice Program Chief of Party David Vaughn are invited to participate in the event.
During the presentation, representatives of the judiciary, Parliament and civil society will discuss the ODR benefits in improving access to court services and justice, taking into account the needs of citizens, as well as next steps in deploying the ODR platform at the national level and using it for resolution of other types of disputes.
