Request for applications to conduct surveys of participants in court proceedings using the citizens report cards methodology (CRC)

USAID Nove Pravosuddya Justice Sector Reform Program is seeking grant applications to conduct surveys of citizens-participants in court proceedings on their satisfaction with the work of courts of Ukraine, using the citizen report cards (CRC) methodology.

The purpose of this grant program is to develop sustainable cooperation between civil society organizations and courts, aimed at improving the quality of court services and strengthening public confidence in the judiciary. It is expected that the recipients of grants under this grant program will conduct surveys of participants in court proceedings on satisfaction with the quality of court operation, using the methodology of citizens report cards and modern methods of remote (contactless) surveys.

USAID Nove Pravosuddya Justice Sector Reform Program anticipates awarding up to seven grants. It is anticipated that each grant award may range between 150 thousand UAH and 250 thousand UAH. The final amount will be dependent upon grant activities and final negotiation and may be lower or higher than that range.

The project activities funded by the grant should tentatively start on April 26, 2021 and cannot exceed three months. The applications must be submitted no later than March 22, 2021, by 6:00 p.m., local time.
