This is the final stage of the series of trainings organized by the National School of Judges of Ukraine and the State Judicial Administration supported by the USAID New Justice Program, which included a leadership training at first for chief judges and then for court administrators.
The goal of the program was to boost the atmosphere of trust, mutual respect, and confidence in the process of cooperation between a chief judge and chief of staff to improve court’s operation. 18 executive teams of chief judges and court administrators participated in the program; they successfully completed the respective preliminary programs in September this year. They jointly worked on the vision and identified values of relationships in the executive team, considered roles, duties, and authorities of the team members, improved delegation and strategic planning skills, as well as jointly developed the mutually agreed action plans.
The innovations fair took place during the training where the participants shared their experience of introducing innovations in their courts and jointly came up with new ideas on how to improve court administration.
