The key mission of the Presidential Administration is to ensure the effective exercise of the constitutional powers by the President of Ukraine. With this objective in view, the Presidential Administration, in particular, carries out review of political, economic, social, humanitarian and other processes taking place in Ukraine and worldwide; based on the review outcomes, prepares proposals on constituting and implementation of the country’s internal and external policies to be further submitted to the President of Ukraine; in compliance with the established procedure, performs examination of laws that have been passed by the Verkhovna Rada and referred to the President for endorsement, as well as drafts proposals on endorsing bills or exercising the veto, etc. Cooperation among the USAID New Justice Program and the Presidential Administration provides for the improvement of legislation in the field of justice.
