WEBINAR “CORE SKILLS FOR JUDGES WHILE PRESIDING OVER DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CASES”

On November 17, 2020, the National School of Judges, with assistance from the USAID New Justice Program, and cooperation with the National Judicial College, Reno, USA, conducted the fifth open webinar on “Core Skills for Judges While Presiding Over Domestic Violence Cases”.

After this webcast, listeners will be able to:

  • Summarize the key aspects of the U.S. justice sector response to domestic violence;
  • Describe the court user experience in terms of being fair and appearing fair;
  • Incorporate suggestions for working with self-represented or difficult litigants; and
  • Practice wellness tips for coping with stressors and secondary trauma.
