Webinar “Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): Practical Aspects”

On June 9, 2021, the National School of Judges, with assistance from the USAID New Justice Program, and cooperation with the National Judicial College, Reno, USA, conducted the seventh webinar in the third series of open webinars for judges, judicial clerks, and court staff on “Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): Practical Aspects”.

After this 120-minute webcast, participants should be able to:

  • Become aware of current global trends and practices in the area of ODR;
  • Learn about the efficient implementation of court-annexed and standalone ODR systems, as well as issues related to implementation;
  • Learn about the less successful attempts to implement ODR and the reasons for failure;
  • Understand the role judges and court staff can play in the process of designing and implementing ODR solutions;
  • Learn about the development of such initiatives in Ukraine.
