WEBINAR “PROCEEDINGS AGAINST JUDGES IN THE U.S.”

On December 16, 2020, the National School of Judges, with assistance from the USAID New Justice Program, and cooperation with the National Judicial College, Reno, USA, conducted the ninth open webinar on “Proceedings against Judges in the U.S”.

After this webcast, listeners will be able to:

  • Summarize the key aspects of jury management and handling of jury trials in the U.S. to incorporate the best practices into work with jurors;
  • Resolve unexpected issues that may arise during jury trials;
  • Consider the ways in which implicit bias may affect jurors, jury outcomes, and the justice system as a whole.
